Creative Man Excites Kenyans by Converting Petrol Generator to Operate Using 6kg Gas Cylinder

A Kenyan man has impressed many people online with his ingenious invention that allows him to use a gas cylinder instead of petrol to power his generator.

In the video posted on TikTok by John Somoir, the man demonstrates how he connected a 6kg gas cylinder to his generator using a hosepipe and a regulator.

The man showed how to switch off the generator by cutting off the flow of gas to the revving machine.

His invention was, however, questioned by some netizens who expressed reservations about the safety of the technology.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Michelle Boit said the conversion of the generator from operating on petrol to LPG was possible.

She added:
